Tech Advance keeps the fires burning for Premier LPG

Premier LPG Limited is an established LPG supplier to homes and businesses throughout the North West. With over 30 year’s management experience in the industry, they have built a reputation as being one of the leading independent suppliers of LPG and Autogas.

When Premier LPG were set to relocate their business from their site in Blackpool to a new site in Preston, it was an unusual project for them as it involved operating for over a month in a temporary office.  This of course brought some challenges for the business, particularly from a telecoms perspective as you can imagine.

Barry Sanderson is a company director of the business which is well-known for their low prices and high standard of personable service that they pride themselves on.  Barry spoke about the challenges the company faced:

“We were relocating our business from our Blackpool site to a new one in Preston and had to move out of our Blackpool office one month before the Preston site was ready for us. This meant we had no other choice but to move into a temporary office in the meantime which posed a number of challenges to our business.  Our main concern was how we could manage our incoming telephone calls effectively during this period, with no disruptions at all. I cannot stress how important it was for us to keep everything running as smoothly and seamlessly as possible as being a gas supply company we must offer our customers 24/7 emergency cover.”

Faced with the challenge Premier LPG knew they needed to move quickly if they were going to be able to continue delivering the high quality service that their reputation was built on.

“It’s a very challenging and competitive industry” explains Barry, “we knew any downtown at all in our customer service would have repercussions on the business and we were determined for that not to happen.”

Premier LPG needed a solution that would allow them to continue with their 24hour incoming call service without any downtime at all, this meant finding a telecoms company that they could put their trust in to deliver exactly what they needed with no mess ups at all.

“We needed someone who understood the importance of what we were trying to achieve and that could guarantee no disruption to our day to day business” says Barry.

It was through a recommendation from one of their associates that led Premier LPG to with speak with Preston based Telecommunications Company Tech Advance and they were glad they did as with them they found exactly what they were looking for.

“Tech Advance came highly recommended to us and after looking into the previous work they had done, we were more than happy to put our trust in them.”

“We had initial discussions with Tech Advance who at that point helped take the lead in compiling a project plan for the telecoms which was implemented very effectively. This enabled us to make the transition from our Blackpool site to the temporary office and then on to the Preston site with no disruption in service at all and best of all we didn’t have to spend time worrying or dealing with numerous different contacts, leaving us to concentrate on other areas of the move.”

Ian Hilton who handled the project from Tech Advance Ltd commented “The solution for Premier LPG was interesting as we managed a solution using their existing 08 number routing and diverts from existing suppliers into a temporary service operating in the cloud which we manage allowing us to route calls to multiple mobile telephones at the same time retaining an ability to answer and transfer these calls effectively. Whilst this was in place we removed their existing NEC telephone system and then re configured and re installed it for them in the new site in Preston once this was ready to use. It was great to be involved in this solution for Premier LPG and the end result worked exceptionally well minimising any downtime and keeping the business in touch with its clients at all times”.

With Premier LPG firing on all cylinders they continue to deliver the great service they always have. Barry Sanderson commented:
